Musheramore is the high point of the Boggeragh Mountains, the rolling upland between Millstreet and the Lee valley in north Cork. The nearest higher hill is Mullaghanish, 11.9 km west. With 437 m of prominence it is a Marilyn, and it is also a Hewitt, an Arderin and a Vandeleur-Lynam.
The hill is broad and grassy, with forestry and bog on its flanks. Walkers approach from the minor roads that cross the range. The ground is wet, though the slopes are gentle.
Musheramore is 643 m (2,109 ft) high with 437 m of prominence. It is in North Cork, Ireland. OS grid reference W328849. It is the 6th highest of the 12 summits Peakify lists in North Cork. The nearest summits are Musherabeg (2.3 km), Tooreen (10 km) and Claragh Mountain (8.9 km).
