Arran is a short ferry from Ardrossan, and its granite north end packs in a lot of mountain. Goatfell (874m) is the highest, with a good path from Brodick. Cir Mhor, Caisteal Abhail and the A' Chir ridge make harder days, with scrambling on the ridges. Each hill below has its own summit forecast.
